Regardless, DDL-Hentai is in much need of staff members. We are looking for dedicated people who are willing to spend time and effort into updating and maintaining the site. We are looking for editors, link checkers, uploaders and forum moderator(s).
Editors will have the bulk of the work for updates and new posts, pretty much what I and Skyrun have been doing. Potential editors will undergo training under my tutelage and will be in a probationary period for 2 weeks. Should the performance be deemed worthy, then he/she passes and will become a full-fledged member of staff. Editors are required to integrate themselves into the community (i.e. chatbox, forum) and must keep me informed about their updates.
Link checkers will have to go through the set of links in every post to see which ones are dead or not. Then they will have to make a report in the staff forums so the editors can remove the dead links on the specified titles.
Uploaders are required to provide links to posts with no or few links. A probationary period of two weeks is given. Uploads should be posted in the forums every 3-5 days, unless a real reason for lack of updates is given. Failure to upload for 1 month will have your status revoked. Links are posted in the uploaders’ thread for staff to see and acknowledge.
A forum moderator keeps track of the forum posts to see if they are in the appropriate thread, reminds the people of good conduct before discussions go out of hand. They are expected to be polite and must give time to check new posts daily.
Please note that I will be strict about the applications. Many people have applied, been accepted but disappeared after finishing the tutorial or have gone AWOL. It’s a shame but ultimately a waste of precious time.
